As of today, we are down to 21 days and change before the inauguration of Barack Obama. I had an interesting experience at the grocery store a couple of days ago. It clearly signals that the reality of the end of the George W. Bush presidency has settled on me. I have spent nearly four years flipping off "W" stickers and the like, under the dashboard usually so as not to attract attention. This past week, upon seeing a "W" sticker on a car; rather than the requisite bird, I actually broke out laughing.
This is a good sign that I am ready to move on...
...And now that it is in the single digits, I get downright giddy thinking about the significant rise in
I. Q. points in the Oval Office beginning on January 20.
